Besalú Medieval
Besalú Medieval takes place every year on the first weekend of September. It is one of the most visited event in our town with more than 15,000 visitors on a weekend.
During the Besalú Medieval, our town backs in time 1,000 years ago, when it was capital of the County of Besalú and is taken by knights, princesses, merchants, thiefs and lepers.
Throughout the weekend they offer free activities for young and old. In particular, you can not lose the "Street of Trapped." See how lived the most sinister in Besalú at the midle age. Witches, butchers, lepers and prisoners living in this street.
