Sant Julià

The hospital of San Julià or simply Sant Julià is in fact the church of the old hospital that had this name.

From the original construction of Sant Julià, it remains only the facade that s very attractive and stand out on the arches and capitals while it is unknown exactly whether they are originals or the result of a reconstruction.

There is almost no information about this building and, therefore, no one knows exactly neither the time nor who commissioned construction.

Today is a multipurpose room of the municipality of Besalú which is used for exhibitions, music recitals, etc.
